Make college more affordable by paying for tuition and fees over time. Tuition payment plans break down your tuition balance into affordable monthly payments. There’s no interest, payment options are flexible, setup fees are affordable, and it’s easy to enroll!

Cost to Participate

Your only cost is a small enrollment fee:
- $60 for 4 monthly payment plans
- $70 for 3 monthly payment plans
- $75 for 2 monthly payment plans

Up to $30 returned payment fee if a payment is returned

Sign up early to maximize the benefit of spreading your payments over the maximum amount of months for the lowest enrollment fee.

Simple Steps to Enroll

Log in to MyVSU, then click on the following;
Banner
Student Accounts Menu
Log in to Nelnet Payment Plan
Select the appropriate term and Submit
Open Nelnet
Once on Nelnet site, complete account setup, review account balance, then follow screens to enroll in Nelnet

Balance Adjustments

Changes to your registration or adjustments to your financial aid could have an impact on your Nelnet agreement. You should review your payment agreement to verify if adjustments have been made to your Nelnet balance. Access your Nelnet agreement from Banner using the steps to enroll shown above.

Important Information

Maximum amount is $5,500. Any amount over $5,500 will be added to the down payment during enrollment
Down payment (plus amount over $5,500 if applicable) and enrollment fees are processed IMMEDIATELY
If payment is returned for any reason, the agreement may be terminated and notice of termination sent to VSU

Authorized Party

Students: If someone is paying on your behalf, you MUST first set them up as an Authorized Payer.

Authorized Payers: If you are paying on behalf of the student, the student must access or set up their account first and then add you as an Authorized Payer.

Sign Up Early

Earlier enrollment may have a lower down payment required.

Pay remaining balance in 2, 3, or 4 MONTHLY payments
