Make college more affordable by paying for tuition and fees over time. Tuition payment plans break down your tuition balance into affordable monthly payments. There’s no interest, payment options are flexible, setup fees are affordable, and it’s easy to enroll!
Payment Plan Information
Choose your Method of Payment
- Automatic bank payment (ACH)
- Credit or debit card (An additional fee of 2.8% will be assessed.)
- Regularly scheduled payments will process on the 23rd of the month
Know Your Fees
- $20 nonrefundable enrollment fee per semester
- $25 nonrefundable enrollment fee per semester starting Summer 2024
- $30 nonrefundable returned payment fee if a payment if returned
There will be an additional Service Fee of 2.8% when using a credit/debit card. This will be added to your payment amount.
Simple Steps to Enroll
Before proceeding, please read the following:
Students: If someone is paying on your behalf, you MUST first set them up as an Authorized Payer with Nelnet.
Authorized Payers: If you are paying on behalf of the student, the student must first set up their account with Nelnet and then add you as an Authorized Payer.
- If you have used Nelnet before, simply Sign in to manage your account.
- If you are new to Nelnet, click on the “Create a username & password” button to create an online account.
- After you have registered your account Authorized Payers can log in here.
Student steps to enroll:
- Go to your mavlink.nebraska.edu account
- Log in with student credentials
- Select “Maverick Payment Plan” on the Home Page

NOTE: All down payments and enrollment fee are processed immediately!
PAYMENT PLAN AVAILABILITY Availability of the payment plan is determined by University of Nebraska-Omaha. Please be aware the University may elect not to have the payment plan available during specific times and dates during registration.
BALANCE ADJUSTMENTS Please do not assume your balance will automatically adjust if financial aid is received or a class is dropped or added. You should review your agreement balance online.
