Make college more affordable by paying for tuition and fees over time. Tuition payment plans break down your tuition balance into affordable monthly payments. There’s no interest, payment options are flexible, setup fees are affordable, and it’s easy to enroll!
Payment Plan Information
Payment Methods
- Automatic bank payment (ACH)
- Mastercard, Discover, and Visa (*An additional service fee of 2.85% will be assessed.)
Payments are processed automatically on the 5th of each month. *If a credit/debit card is used, a service fee in addition to the enrollment fee will be assessed.
Cost to Participate
- $35 nonrefundable enrollment fee per semester
- $3 nonrefundable enrollment fee for an immediate full payment
- Up to $30 nonrefundable returned payment fee if a payment is returned
Simple Steps to Enroll
- Go to https://portal.sc4.edu; Log in
- Select “Select Service Center”
- Click on the “Student Finance” module to view your semester balance.
- Once confirmed, select the Institution icon on the left-side menu bar, labeled “Financial Information”
- Select the “Student Finance” drop down menu to view additional choices
- Select the “Nelnet Payment Plan” option
- Click on “Proceed to Processor”
- Click the link on the steps to enroll
It is the policy of SC4 that the Responsible Party be at least 18 years of age. By enrolling with Nelnet Campus Commerce, the Responsible Party agrees to pay all tuition and fees even if the initial deposit does not go through.
Students: If someone is paying on your behalf, you MUST first set them up as an Authorized Payer.
Authorized Payers: If you are paying on behalf of the student, the student must access or set up their account first and then add you as an Authorized Payer.

Students delinquent on payments to Nelnet Campus Commerce on the final semester drop date will be removed from their classes.
PAYMENT PLAN AVAILABILITY Availability of the payment plan is determined by St Clair Community College. Please be aware the College may elect not to have the payment plan available during specific times and dates during registration.
BALANCE ADJUSTMENTS Please do not assume your balance will automatically adjust if financial aid is received or a class is dropped or added. You should review your agreement balance online.
