Make college more affordable by paying for tuition and fees over time. Tuition payment plans break down your tuition balance into affordable monthly payments. There’s no interest, payment options are flexible, setup fees are affordable, and it’s easy to enroll!
Payment Plan Information
Payment Methods
- Automatic payment from checking or savings account (ACH)
- Automatic Payment from credit or debit card (2.85% service fee)
Regularly scheduled payments will process on the 9th or 15th of each month
Credit and debit cards will have a fully disclosed processing fee
Cost to Participate
- $45 nonrefundable enrollment fee per semester
- Up to $30 nonrefundable returned payment fee per returned payment
Simple Steps to Enroll
Before proceeding, please read the following:
Students: If someone is paying on your behalf, you MUST first set them up as an Authorized Payer.
- Go to OneLogin
- Click on the Nelnet Campus Commerce button
- Once your profile is set up, you can make a payment, enroll in a payment plan, or setup an authorized payer who can create a plan for your balance
Authorized Payers: If you are paying on behalf of the student, the student MUST set up their account first and then add you as an Authorized Payer.
Once the student invites you, you will receive an email invitation with a link.
- Click on the included link
- Answer the security question
- If you have used Nelnet before, simply Sign In to manage your account
- If you are new to Nelnet, click on the “Create a username & password” button to create an online account

Refunds
Managing Your Refund Preference in Nelnet
To receive eligible student account refunds, select your preferred refund method in the Nelnet Payment Portal.
Steps to Enroll
Students
- Log in to the Nelnet Payment Portal through Berg Connect.
- If this is your first time accessing the refund system, follow the prompts to create your refund profile.
- Select Manage Refunds.
- Choose Enroll in a Refund Method (or Edit Refund Method if already enrolled).
- Select your preferred refund option:
- Direct Deposit (recommended)
- Reloadable Debit Card
- Paper Check
- Review and submit your selection.
Authorized Parties
- Log in to your Nelnet Authorized Party account.
- Select Manage Refunds.
- Choose Edit Refund Method and update your preferred refund option.
You may return to Manage Refunds at any time to update your refund preference. Direct deposit is the fastest and most secure refund method.
