Make college more affordable by paying for tuition and fees over time. Tuition payment plans break down your tuition balance into affordable monthly payments. There’s no interest, payment options are flexible, setup fees are affordable, and it’s easy to enroll!
Payment Plan Information
Payment Methods
- Automatic payment from checking or savings account (ACH)
- Automatic payment from credit or debit card (Service Fee 2.60%)
Cost to Participate
- $30 nonrefundable enrollment fee per agreement (ACH & credit card)
- up to a $30 nonrefundable returned payment fee if a payment is returned
- If the enrollment fee returns for any reason, the agreement will be terminated.
Steps to Enroll
You must activate your Middlebury account before you will be able to log into Nelnet to see your bill and make a payment. Please contact Middlebury IT at helpdesk@middlebury.edu for assistance with establishing your account credentials.
Click the Student Sign On link below and login with your Middlebury account username and password.

Students: If someone is paying on your behalf, you MUST first set them up as an Authorized Payer.
- Once you have created your user account select ‘My Profile’ from the welcome page
- Click on ‘Manage Payer’
- Click on ‘Add Authorized Party Information’ and click save to generate email
Authorized Payers: If you are paying on behalf of the student, the student must access or set up their account first and then add you as an Authorized Payer.
