Make College Easier to Pay For with a Tuition Payment Plan.
Make college more affordable by paying for tuition and fees over time. Tuition payment plans break down your tuition balance into affordable monthly payments. There’s no interest, payment options are flexible, setup fees are affordable, and it’s easy to enroll!
Payment Plan Information
Payment Methods
- Automatic payment from checking or savings account (ACH)
- Automatic Payment from credit card/debit card (An additional service fee will be assessed.)
If a credit/debit card is used, a service fee of 2.85% in addition to the enrollment fee will be assessed. Credit Cards accepted are Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
Regularly scheduled payments will process on the 5th of the month
Cost to Participate
- $35, $40 or $45 nonrefundable enrollment fee per agreement depending on the number of payments
- Up to $30 nonrefundable returned payment fee if a payment is returned
Simple Steps to Enroll
- Log in to Banner Self Service
- Click on “Student & Financial Aid”
- Click “Pay Online”
- Select the desired term for payment plan enrollment
- Select “Pay by Payment Plan with Nelnet”
Before you click the Submit button, please read carefully through the Final Review and the Terms and Conditions. An immediate e-mail will be sent (if an e-mail address was provided for the person responsible for payment) confirming enrollment in the payment plan.

Payers must have 50% of their tuition paid and be current on the payment plan prior to the guarantee date. If not, the payment plan will be terminated on the guarantee date. All funds collected will be remitted to the institution. If additional classes are added after enrollment in the payment plan, payers must ensure that at least 50% of the updated tuition balance is paid by the guarantee date to remain eligible. The maximum amount a student may budget is $4,500.00.
PAYMENT PLAN AVAILABILITY: Availability of the payment plan is determined by Lanier Technical College. Please be aware the College may elect not to have the payment plan available during specific times and dates during registration.
BALANCE ADJUSTMENTS: Please do not assume your balance will automatically adjust if financial aid is received or a class is dropped or added. You should review your agreement balance online.
Students: If someone is paying on your behalf, you MUST first set them up as an Authorized Payer.
Authorized Payers: If you are paying on behalf of the student, the student must access or set up their account first and then add you as an Authorized Payer.
