Make college more affordable by paying for tuition and fees over time. Tuition payment plans break down your tuition balance into affordable monthly payments. There’s no interest, payment options are flexible, setup fees are affordable, and it’s easy to enroll!
Payment Plan Information
Payment Methods
- Automatic bank payment (ACH) does not include a service fee
- Credit card/debit card includes a service fee
*Transaction fees apply with card payment
Payments are automatically processed on the 1st of each month
Service Fee:
Effective November 16, 2022, Nelnet will begin to charge a service fee for all credit and debit card transactions.
Credit card / debit card payments will incur a 2.85% service fee.
Payments via automatic bank payments (ACH transactions) will not be charged a service fee. Therefore, to avoid the 2.85% service fee, you may make a payment using an ACH bank account.
Cost to Participate
- $50 nonrefundable enrollment fee per semester
- Up to $30 nonrefundable returned payment fee if a payment is returned
Simple Steps to Enroll
- Log on to the DC Portal- my.dc.edu
- Go to the Students tab
- Click on Student Account Center
- Make one-time payment or set up a payment plan
Before proceeding, please read the following:
Students: If someone is paying on your behalf, you MUST first set them up as an Authorized Payer.
Authorized Payers: If you are paying on behalf of the student, the student must set up their account first and then add you as an Authorized Payer.
- Students to set up an Authorized Payer once you are in your account click the “Want to designate another payer” link in the top right corner of the page
- Once the required information has been completed, an email will be sent to the Authorized Payer with a link to log in to the payment system
- Once the Authorized Payer has successfully logged in, they may complete a payment plan or make a payment on the student’s behalf.
