Make college more affordable by paying for tuition and fees over time. Tuition payment plans break down your tuition balance into affordable monthly payments. There’s no interest, payment options are flexible, setup fees are affordable, and it’s easy to enroll!
Make a One-Time Payment
One-time payments are payments not associated with, or applied to, an existing payment plan account.
Payment Plan Information
Payment Methods
- Automatic payment from checking or savings account (ACH)
- Automatic payment from credit card/debit card (An additional service fee of 2.85%)
Payments are processed on the 1st of the month.
Cost to Participate
- $40 nonrefundable enrollment fee per agreement
- $30 nonrefundable returned payment fee if a payment is returned
Simple Steps to Enroll
Before proceeding, please read the following:
Students: If someone is paying on your behalf, you MUST first set them up as an Authorized Payer.
Authorized Payers: If you are paying on behalf of the student, the student MUST set up their account first and then add you as an Authorized Payer.
Students
- Log on to today.dean.edu with your Dean credentials
- Click “Online Billing and Payments” under Essential Links
- Click “Set up a Payment Plan”
Adding Authorized Payer
- Once in Nelnet, click My Profile
- Under the box that says Manage Payers, Click Add
- Fill in all required fields and click Save
- An email invite will be sent to your Authorized Party
Authorized Payers:
Authorized payers can sign in here after they have set up their account.
- If you have used Nelnet before, simply sign in to manager your account.
- If you are new to Nelnet, click on the link in your email invite from the student.
Note: All down payments and enrollment fees are processed immediately! If the down payment and/or enrollment fee payment fails the plan will be terminated.
