Refunds
Information on Refunds
You may have a credit balance if your balance due shows up as a negative number. You will want to check your account in Workday to ensure that all aid has moved from an anticipated payment to an applied payment. We will not be able to issue a refund if you still have funds in anticipated payments. If you would like your credit refunded, please follow the steps below. If you would like your credit to be used towards future charges, you do not need to take any action. Credits left in the student account will be used towards any future charges.
1) Fill out the credit refund form and submit it to the Student Financial Services Office.
2) Make sure to click on the “manage refunds” tab in NelNet to select how you would like to receive your money back.
PLEASE NOTE: we will not be able to start refunding credits until after the add/drop date at the beginning of the term. Refunds take approximately five business days to process. Refunds from a Parent Plus loan will be given back to the parent/loan holder and not to issued to the student.
