Make college more affordable by paying for tuition and fees over time. Tuition payment plans break down your tuition balance into affordable monthly payments. There’s no interest, payment options are flexible, setup fees are affordable, and it’s easy to enroll!

Cost to Participate
- $40 nonrefundable enrollment fee per semester
- Up to $30 nonrefundable return payment fee
Simple Steps to Enroll
Important Note
Before proceeding, please read the following:
Students: If someone is paying on your behalf, you MUST first set them up as an Authorized Payer.
Authorized Payers: If you are paying on behalf of the student, the student MUST set up their account first and then add you as an Authorized Payer.
- If you have used Nelnet before simply “Sign in” to manage your account.
- If you are new to Nelnet the student will receive an email inviting them to enroll in an available payment plan.
- In the email invite, select ‘Set-Up’ a payment plan.
- Select “Create a username & password” to create your Nelnet Campus Commerce account.
- If someone other than the student will be making the payments, the student must designate them as an Authorized Payer by clicking the “Want to designate another payer” link in the top right corner of the page.
- Once the required information has been completed, an email will be sent to the Authorized Payer with the link to log into the payment system.
- Once the Authorized Payer has successfully logged in, they may complete a payment plan or make a payment on the student’s behalf.
Click Enroll Today at the top of the page.
Attention: When entering the Student ID in the Contact Info section of the payment plan enrollment process, please enter only the prefix of the student’s Carnegie Mellon email address when creating an account (lowercase letters only). Example: andrewc2

PAYMENT PLAN AVAILABILITY Availability of the payment plan is determined by Carnegie Mellon College. Please be aware the College may elect not to have the payment plan available during specific times and dates during registration.
BALANCE ADJUSTMENTS Please do not assume your balance will automatically adjust if financial aid is received or a class is dropped or added. You should review your agreement balance online.
