Make college more affordable by paying for tuition and fees over time. Tuition payment plans break down your tuition balance into affordable monthly payments. There’s no interest, payment options are flexible, setup fees are affordable, and it’s easy to enroll!
Payment Plan Information
Payment Methods
- Automatic bank payment (ACH)
- Credit card/debit card (An additional fee may be assessed)
- Cards accepted: Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and Visa
Cost to Participate
- Your only cost is a small enrollment fee:
- $60 for 4+ monthly payment plans
- $70 for 3 monthly payment plans
- $75 for 1-2 monthly payment plans
- Up to $30 returned payment fee if a payment is returned
Sign up early to maximize the benefit of spreading your payments over the maximum amount of months for the lowest enrollment fee.

- Select Nelnet Payment plan
Steps for authorized payers to log in
Authorized Payers:
- If you are paying on behalf of the student, the student must set up their account first and then add you as an Authorized Payer.
- Log in here after your student sets you up as an Authorized Payer
Please be advised Nelnet only allows one active payment plan at a time for any term.

Payment plan available on June 12, 2025
Payers must have 50% of their balance paid and be current on the payment plan prior to the guarantee date. If not, the payment plan will be terminated on the guarantee date. All funds collected will be remitted to the institution.
If additional charges are added after enrollment in the payment plan, payers must ensure that at least 50% of the updated account balance is paid by the guarantee date to remain eligible.
*Maximum Payment Plan Amount: $5,500.00*
Online payments will not be allowed within one week of the guarantee date.
